Sales Conference

Technical support for Mercer’s annual sales conference: 450 of Mercer’s key hedge fund investors located across 5 different international venues.

We were asked to provide full technical production support to Ashfield M&E’s financial services client, Mercer, during their annual sales conference.

The 4 day event, including rig and rehearsal days, took place in the main ballroom at The Hilton Park Lane, London. TechPro also provided technical support across an additional 3 breakout rooms, 4 meetings rooms, 3 slide preview rooms and the foyer.

With access from 4am, the team took on a 16 hour load and rig day on the Sunday, followed by a 12 hour rehearsal day on the Monday. Key speaker sessions took place from 9am – 5pm on the Tuesday and Wednesday, with an off-site dinner on the Tuesday evening. De-rig and load took place overnight on the Wednesday.

TechPro provided:

  • 36m x 4.7m rolled radius stage with a bleached white canvas finish and black backing to enhance the video image
  • 12m x 3m stage, 2 x bespoke lecterns & 5 white tub chairs for Q&A sessions
  • Curved 4 projector blend – Panasonic 13k HD projectors & backups, Christie Spyder X20 Widescreen System, visuals and graphics PC
  • 2 x Panasonic 50” HD plasma screen comfort monitors
  • 2 x video cameras with ISO and TX record
  • Yamaha Digital Audio System, Nexo Line Array, 8 channel radio mics and a PTT mics on each audience cabaret table
  • Digital lighting system with the latest Chauvet LED lighting
  • 27m truss rigging
  • Set designs, elevations and CAD plans
  • Onsite Project Manager, Show Caller, Producer, Video Technician, Widescreen Engineer, 2x Audio Technician, 1x Lighting Technician, 1x Vision Mixer, 2x Camera Operators
